We are the specialist fork lift training division of Enterprise Training Group.

Operating from newly refurbished training sites at Ancoats, Manchester and Bredbury, Stockport we offer a variety of courses most weeks of the year.  Our facilities and team of instructors can accommodate upto 3 courses (9 candidates) at any time, giving you a wide choice of training options.

We are also one of the few training organisations that offer weekend training courses.

Training is delivered to the recommended Health & Safety Executive standards through our Road Transport Industry Training Board (RTITB) accreditation.

All our team are experienced RTITB counterbalance and reach instructors as a minimum, but most teach a much wider range of courses, with qualifications for most types of forklifts, overhead cranes, work platforms (MEWPS) and lorry loaders catered for.  Banksman training and manual handling courses are also popular.

On site training can be delivered anywhere in the country – please ask for details

Accrediting Body RTITB

We are a Road Transport Industry Training Board (RTITB) approved training centre.  All of our courses are therefore fully accredited by the RTITB.

The RTITB introduced a nationally recognised standard of training.  The RTITB audits and accredits all FLT training courses that we provide throughout the North West, whether it’s on one of our Fork Lift Truck training courses near Stockport (our Bredbury training centre), a Fork Lift Truck training course near Manchester (our Ancoats training centre) or onsite at your company premises.

In order to eradicate counterfeit operator certificates and the associated substandard training RTITB introduced NORS (National Operators Registration Scheme) entry onto which is included in our course prices.

While RTITB ensures our training is to a nationally recognised standard, FLT Training Manchester seeks to deliver the highest quality of training in the North West.  We go beyond the course content requirements of RTITB with a view to safely maximise FLT operator productivity for the employer.
